We will begin our Recovery Support Services by offering the 3rd session of the Medicine Wheel & 12 Steps for Prisons and Re-entry on December 10, 2010. The Medicine Wheel & 12 Steps for Prisons and Re-entry is for both Adult Women and Men. It is a 16 week program where all participants meet once a week to review with a facilitator a series of DVD's that feature Don Coyhis, Founder and President of White Bison, Inc. The DVD series takes the participant through the Medicine Wheel & 12 Steps Recovery process using Native American Spirituality and Cultural teachings. After completing the 16 weeks of the Medicine Wheel & 12 Steps the participant if feels drawn to do so can mentor as a facilitator with a Certified Facilitator. They are eligible to receive the Certification training too. In addition to the Medicine Wheel & 12 Steps for Prisons and Re-entry we will be beginning our other Recovery Support Services like Fathers of Tradition, Talking Circles, Red Road to Wellbriety Study Group, Medicine Wheel & 12 Steps for Adolescents and in the near future Families of Tradition, Mothers of Tradition and Grief Recovery.
